Promises were always made
hopes were always created
Memories were woven daily
But all slept in the cold death

Crying in front of everyone
And Getting all things done
To crying all alone
And waiting for karma to get things done

Playing all day around
Making new friends was life all about
Momma and dada were the world
And life finally took a turn

Ranting about medicines
To ranting about life issues
Somewhere between it
Life is what happened

Complicated friendships
Regretful steps taken
Committing unpunishable crimes
And Life surely left us behind

Just Another Bloke In Life

You see during my childhood, my parents ensured I watched fairy-tale movies and had books filled with magical stories of knights and beautiful princesses who were in dire need of saving. I don’t think they knew the effect of all these stories towards my love life.
